Finck, with assistance from members of the Kedge
Weavers Guild, for a two day workshop as you learn the behind the
scenes of basic
weaving. We will start with winding the
warp, including discussion about
“threads per inch” and the type of
fibres we
use for weaving. Each
person will dress their table loom (looms provided) and weave a sample.
Looms
will be threaded in a variety of patterns and
there will be opportunity
to try several of these. |
Weavers and mentors dress the looms.
Everyone is working.
The Gamp project.
One tired loom ready to go home.
